LHO (low head oxygenator) - oxygen input for aquaculture plants

Colasit designs, plans, produces and installs LHOs made of polyethylene plastic (PE-HD) for oxygen input according to customer requirements.

Oxygen is introduced into the LHO tank at a slight overpressure (50 - 100 mbar) via a nozzle plate, enriching the water with oxygen.

The tailor-made large LHO for oxygen enrichment

The principle is suitable for both centralised and decentralised enrichment. Generally, the pressure of the incoming water or the circulation pumps is used. LHOs can be installed both next to the tank and directly in the flow duct. The nozzle plate is easily accessible, easy to remove and clean. An externally mounted transparent PVC pipe shows the water level in the LHO.
